Generally speaking, fluoroelastomer, short in FKM or FPM, can be the best at chemical resistant among all types of rubber. There are many subcategories below it, each of them has its own special characters.

However, it is not good at esters, ketones, ethers or methanol ressitant. There are also special ones having improved exceptional properties. For example, FEPM, it can resistant to both strong acid and strong alkali, while others only can resitant to strong acid and weak alkali, except ETP and FFKM.
